Here are some moving gifs created by `Maple` for the two
examples discussed in class, and handed out here. The files shown total about
three-quarters of a megabyte and might (!) take some time (!!) to
transfer.

**The first example**

The initial velocity was 0 and the initial position was a triangular
shape. Remember the wave velocity is 1, so units of time and space are
the same numerically. These are 25 pictures taken over the time interval
from 0 to 47.124, which is essentially 5 times 3Pi units of time.
