- For students who want extra help, there will be a calculus clinic regularly. The time and location of these clinics is subject to change, please check the MSLC website for more information.
- Review sessions are hosted in ARC 328 every Tuesday from 3:00-4:20 and in Hill 124 every Friday 1:40-3:00, except March 9 and April 6.
- NOTE: Tuesday, April 3, the session will be 1:30 to 3:00 PM at ARC 328.

- Students may also find it useful to review "How to do well in calculus," with Prof Soffer.

Suggestions:

- Try to work on math every day. It takes time to understand these concepts and it's better to study for some time each day than for a longer time once or twice a week.
- After you read a problem in the text, cover up the solution and see if you can work it yourself without looking at the text. If you have trouble, uncover just enough of the book's solution to get yourself started again. Keep going until you finish the problem. Make a note to come back and try that one again with the answer covered. After all, if you have trouble when you've just read the solution in the book, how are you going to do that problem on the exam?
- Most importantly, go home and try the homework the night after the class in which the section is discussed. That makes it easier to understand the discussion of HW problems at the next class. It also makes it easier to remember how to do the problems when exam time rolls around!

Note: The fall exam covered Sections 3.6 to 4.6 of the text. The spring exam covered Sections 3.5 to 4.7. The coverage will vary from class to class.

**The final exam will be May 03, 2012 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.** The final will be a cumulative, closed book exam.
Student prepared formula sheets will not be allowed. An official formula sheet (see the copy below) will be provided. Calculators MAY NOT be
used on the final exam. Check the Math Department homepage for the final exam locations.
